Clumsiness during pregnancy results from several factors such as loosening of the ligaments, shift in your center of gravity and weight gain. During pregnancy, some women may need larger shoe size than the normal which is because of stretched ligaments. For most women, this side effect may not return back to the normal condition, hence proceed to shop for a new set of footwear.

In case you are experiencing “little blue” even later, there’s nothing at all to get worried about. Most women may feel stressed about their unique role of mother and are also concerned about their delivery. This condition can trigger mood swings. In case you feel the mood swings become more severe than the worry of the unknown, immediately contact your care provider. Sometimes, unmanageable mood swings can lead to depression during pregnancy.

Have you made a decision on breastfeeding or bottle feeding? Half of the pregnant women want to do breastfeeding while another half wants to go with bottle feeding. But, many will change their minds once after the childbirth.

Symptoms experienced by a 30 weeks pregnant woman:

During these days, some women may feel that they have got a flamethrower in their chest. Heartburn is the most common cause of this problem. A significant change in pregnancy hormones can make the pelvic muscles to relax and also relax a ring of muscles that separate the esophagus from the stomach.

Back pain is always a constant companion until the time of your delivery. Also, you may feel the urge to urinate more frequently as often as every 10 minutes. Relaxing exercises can help you in reducing the back pain, fatigue as well as general discomfort. Make sure that you don’t perform any physical activity excessively. Third trimester is the period to cut down some amount of physical workouts and focus more on getting enough sleep.

Sleeping on your left side is recommended especially during this time as it can help to improve circulation. You can also use pregnancy pillow for great comfort and to get sound sleep.

Physical changes that occur in a 30 weeks pregnant woman:

Swelling is the most common physical change that will be noticeable on many pregnant women. If you notice swelling of your face and hands, then it is necessary to consult your care provider because excessive swelling may be a sign of preeclampsia. 5-10% of the pregnant women may face this condition during pregnancy. However, several studies proved that appropriate nutritional intake can help to reduce the probability of developing preeclampsia.

Varicose veins can also be a condition noticeable in many pregnant women. This condition can be a result of weakness in small veins that bring blood back to the heart. Varicose veins will show as fine blue, red or purple lines under the skin, most commonly on your ankles and legs. This condition will become even worse during pregnancy third trimester because of application of more pressure upon the veins in your legs. So, avoid standing or sitting for longer hours and also avoid sitting with crossed legs. Elevating the legs slightly can help to decrease the severity of your condition.

Fetal changes that occur in a 30 weeks pregnant woman:

When you are 30 weeks pregnant, the baby is approximately 16.8 inches long and about 3 pounds weight.

The baby’s moves become more rapid during this period and when you undergo a 30 weeks pregnant ultrasound, you can identify which body parts your little one moving more frequently.

The baby’s head is now proportionate to the remaining body and is preparing the head for the developing brain.

The level of amniotic fluid reduces as your baby grows in its size. Even there is a reduction in amniotic fluid level, you won’t feel any lighter.

During your ultrasound scan, you can clearly notice your baby’s eye movements. The baby is now practicing opening and closing the eyes and even tries to look sideways.
