  • Consider regular health checkups because any problem that occurs during pregnancy may cause severe damage to the baby.
  • Along with regular check up, make sure to schedule a dental appointment as pregnancy from this week may increase the risk of developing pregnancy gingivitis.
  • Take adequate levels of prenatal vitamins regularly, such as vitamins B, vitamin C and vitamin D and calcium as well as proteins for your healthy gums and teeth.
  • Wear comfortable and loose clothes. Wearing a good supportive bra is very important as it can reduce breast tenderness.
  • This is the week to observe your baby’s movements. Expect them and rejoice while feeling them. Pregnant women will describe those moments as very emotional ones, particularly for first time mothers.

During this week, it is completely normal to feel tired. When you feel exhausted, take a break from work and give time to relax. Taking afternoon naps will help to decrease the most discomfort in your pregnancy.

Fainting and dizziness are the most common symptoms during first trimester and sometimes they continue for the whole pregnancy period. So, take care of yourself from falling as it will damage the baby inside you.
