1. Rest well

Though pain is considered a part of the process, do not be under the impression that you need to bear pain. 4. Good nutrition
Continuing the nutritious diet you consumed during the pregnancy is a good idea. If anything you need more nutrition now. So eat high protein and energy meals at regular intervals. Also, keep yourself sufficiently hydrated.
